Introduction

The Nacogdoches Area Christian Home Educators' Association (NACHEA) - formerly NAHSA - is a Christ-centered homeschool support group for families in the Nacogdoches, Texas area.

NACHEA membership includes families from Nacogdoches and the surrounding areas. Our members represent a variety of Christian churches, academic and professional backgrounds, and employ a variety of curricula and instructional approaches to meet specific needs and goals.

What we do

NACHEA sponsors many activities to support homeschooling families. Each month during the "school year", we enjoy a monthly Roller Skating day, a Bowling day, and a Park day. Several Field Trips are also scheduled throughout the year.

Other NACHEA events are especially designed for particular groups, such as Mom's Night Out, Keepers at Home, Teen activities, and the NACHEA-sponsored Cub Scout and Boy Scout troops. All of these events are designed to allow NACHEA members an opportunity to enjoy Christian fellowship, have fun, make new friends, share information, and benefit from the mutual support of other homeschooling families.

Conduct at NACHE functions is guided by the Statement of Faith and the Regulations for Field Trips & Social Functions. NACHEA business procedures are guided by the By Laws and Standing Rules.
